Privacy Policy

Leonard is a personal family website for field notes, artwork, sticker ideas, and creative play. The site is published as a static GitHub Pages website and is not an account-based service, store, newsletter, or advertising platform.

Information We Collect

We believe in privacy-friendly analytics, and our configurations are set up to meet that belief. The site uses New Relic for performance monitoring, error detection, and coarse traffic measurement so we can keep the site working well.

New Relic may receive technical data such as page load timing, browser type, device type, approximate region derived from network information, page path, referrer, and JavaScript error details. This implementation is configured without New Relic browser cookies and without Session Replay. The site does not use New Relic to identify individual visitors.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, account IDs, form contents, tokens, raw query strings, or other visitor-entered personal content to New Relic. The site checks Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track before loading the New Relic Browser agent.

This site does not have contact forms, user accounts, comments, checkout, or newsletter signups.

If you choose to email Leonard, we will receive the information you include in that message, such as your email address, name, and message content. We use that information only to read and respond to the message.

Hosting

The site is hosted by GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub may process basic technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, and request time, to operate and secure the hosting service.

External Links

This site may link to other websites. Those websites have their own privacy practices, and this policy only covers the Leonard site. New Relic's privacy information is available at newrelic.com/termsandconditions/privacy.

Children

This is a family creativity project, but it is not designed to collect personal information from children. Please do not send personal information from a child by email.

Changes

If the site adds features that collect more information, such as forms, analytics, downloads, or a store, this policy should be updated before those features go live.
